  1. Naomi Wessels says:

I wish I could give a copy of The Pursuit of God ~The Human Thirst for the Divine by A.W.Tozer to everyone. Sadly, I think life has become so much of a negotiation that it is really hard to get even for those who are hungry and thirsty that to seek God will not narrow your life and make you weak . The attitude is pretty much if God is not going to fix everything what is the point? Just our society and everything is instant gratification. At some point all of us are brought to our knees and they are still young time will tell and show them it is always about a personal relationship and constant seeking and it takes time~ yours . This article made me think deep and I just want to quote this here.” Orthodoxy , or right opinion ,is, at best, a very slender part of religion. Though right tempers cannot subsist without right opinions, yet right opinions may subsist without right tempers. There may be a right opinion of God without either love or one right temper toward Him.Satan is proof of this.”~John Wesley.
This is what Tozer said “For it is not mere words that nourish the soul, but GOD Himself, and unless and until hearers find GOD in Personal Experience they are not the better for having heard the truth.”
