If you get people into the pews with promises of better sex, glitzy presentations, and new cars, it&#039;s almighty difficult to get them to listen to exhortations about helping the poor, living spiritually aware lives, giving away their excess,or preserving the environment.  Bait-and-switch makes people upset, no matter where it happens.</description>

I would even suggest wading into his writings by using his theological commentary, simply entitled &lt;i&gt;Matthew&lt;/i&gt;, which is part of the Brazos series of theological commentaries on the Bible. As a Catholic I am being daily enriched, by being challenged, prodded, and infuriated by this brilliant, yet humble contribution.</description>
