In the closet unbelievers is not surprising, is it? You sounded like it might be. It’s scripturally predicted after all. Tares are real. Your practical explanation of how this happens is excellent. The how and why they coexist within the church picture you drew was accurate. Their dishonesty is scary though. Can they be renewed again?
The fact that they know of their own unbelief and are not dismayed by it leads me to conclude..probably not.
