SITE NOTE
Note on the Great Spam Wars we've been fighting. I received this from Joe the Plumber this afternoon:
New spam filter installed. You may want to update the Bulletin Board with a reminder that commenters now need to check a box to prove that they're human. We'll see how this one works.
As always, we're grateful to Joe. We could not do this without him.

Understanding the sincerity of unbelievers is wisdom. The scripture teaches, Proverbs 11:30, that he who wins souls is wise. The deeply-held lie they cling to should invoke compassion in us who believe. Especially when we understand that ‘there but for the grace of God go I.’
Sincerity alone is not only not enough to get you to heaven, if it is not the gospel it will get you to hell. The marvel that I believe in the atoning work of Jesus amazes me sometimes. The sincere unbeliever is many times more honest than the closet unbelievers who crowd our churches. When the Lord draws one of these sincerely lost, I hope to be the witness that gives him the truth.
What a privilege that would be.
