This is exactly how I feel abotu my godly mother. She is nearly 84 and feels ready to be with Christ. Will I miss her? Yes. Will I feel sorry for her that she is no longer here with me? Not on your life!

I also have a friend with terminal aggressice cance. She has declined all treatments. She says there is no reason to try and proling her journey here when all she has wanted is a final breath away.

What a marvellous hope we all share! What an amazing Christ legacy…victory over death…no longer the final word it becomes the believers stepping stone into the presence of the one we spend our days longing for.

I am sorry for the loss of someone who had a simple impact on your life. Denise’s tribute was a joy to read and its imagery gave me a chance to picture what she was like. We all need a person, a mentor like that in our life to help us keep perspective.
